610-437-5252 will connect you to the Lehigh County Communications Center. This is for non-emergency calls for Police, Fire and EMS services (ex. water in basement, cat in a tree). Even though Walnutport Borough is physically located in Northampton County, all of our emergency services (police, fire, EMS) are dispatched by Lehigh County’s 9-1-1 Center which is located in the City of Allentown.
NO. The Diamond Fire Company has only one fund drive per year which we mail directly to the residents and property owners. We DO NOT solicit donations via phone calls. Any solicitations by phone do not benefit your local fire services.

An AED is small basic life saving device that is used to “Jump Start” your heart. Currently we are equipped with 3 AED’s on our fire apparatus. We also respond with these AED’s automatically along with Northern Valley EMS on certain medical calls.
Yes. By calling 610-437-5252 a dispatcher will obtain all appropriate information and dispatch our department to your residence.
No. Due to insurance and liability reasons, we no longer fill swimming pools.
A Pennsylvania Special Fire Police Officer is a member of our department empowered by the Borough of Walnutport to handle emergency situations throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. They are trained to address those situations and difficulties the public faces when encountering them. Job duties include making the scene safe for both firefighters and the public and directing motorists around the scene of an accident / emergency scene to name a few.

Yes. There is NO burning of any kind in the Borough. An open fire may be set ONLY in a grill or similar receptacle, solely for cooking food.
